    Default Peter J. Michels Perfecto

    Hi guys,

I'm posting my first shaver which is the PJM Perfecto. Since I'm new and I'm trying to find as much info possible about this razor, can anyone shed more light on this one?

When a razor like this stamped with Peter J. Michels, New York, Made in Germany...would it be considered as an American or German razor?

The razor is a German razor. The PJM company imported razors to this country for resale. Very Best, John

    Thanks John.

In that case, anyone knows which company in Germany actually made the razor? Just curious

...it's impossible to know. We can only guess that it was Carl Friedrich Ern company, Solingen-Wald. They were the owners of Perfecto trademark.

I have an Autocrat that has similar scales, they should be in camel bone. A nice razor!
