Thanks everyone, it sounds like I have my work cut out for me if I want a true wedge. For the time being, I will hope for a 1/4 hollow ground while I search for the true wedge.
I'm not a fan of eBay but it looks like I may have to start looking there again. Does anyone know anywhere else to look other than here and eBay?

Thanked: 247I recently tried a 1/4 hollow by Hart Steel and I can tell you it is a very different experience from a full hollow. They are not cheap, but they work very well for me.

Diameter of the week? How about arbeiten fur die Woche. or Projekt fur die Woche. Sorry I can't insert the two little dots over the "u"s in fur for the correct spelling. My computer isn't that high tech or I am just not that computer savvy. But thank you for allowing the opportunity to expand my vocabulary a little.

Thanked: 3225Yea, you find things in the strangest places. Can't figure out a way to do "umlauts" myself so you've got company. Anyway there is a 6/8 wedge/derb for ya.

Thanked: 3225I don't think they do but you just order and pay on the site. Realize too that the prices include the German equivalent of the British VAT so you have to take off 21% off of the list price IIRC. Yea it is quite a site with many new manufacture razors and older models too plus some parts. A Revisor is the only brand new razor that I own.

When I made the first post I was aware of the classified section. I am looking for a new wedge razor. Since the 1st post I have been enlightened, I will not be able to find a "new" full wedge straight razor. I want to thank everyone for the input.
I have very recently purchased 2 on eBay. I will know when they arrive if I threw away my money or if I invested wisely. Now I must be patient and wait for the results. I am almost sertain I will need professional services on them, but I already know who they will go to for the necessary massaging.
This wet shaving thing is as bad as the whole Harley thing, Dammit! When I bought my 1st bagger, which came after being out of the wind for a little over 5 years, I told my wife we would not go Harley crazy. This was not my 1st motorcyle nor my 1st Harley. She and I agreed that we would not go nuts buying t-shirts and all the other HD themed "stuff." Yet 4 years later she went through my side of the closet one day and bursted out laughing. When I asked what was so funny she asked if I remember what I had said about not going nuts with the HD gear. I sheepishly asked, "how bad is it?" 75 t-shirt, 3 dress shirts and a couple of other shirts, of course she had an almost matching number of shirts as we usually matching shirts as most married people do.
When I discovered SRP and began reading the various posts I soon discovered that acquiring wet shaving gear is just as addictive! Once I realized this very obvious fact I promised myself I would not get caught up in the craze. What did I do this evening? I just bought 2 more and am already contemplating my next purchases!
There are worse things to spend money on than tangible objects and I will use my razors. And I'm still ahead of my estimated annual cost for blade shaving; those numbers on on another post from earlier today.

Those are some very beautiful razors! I will most definitely be making a purchase from them in the future. Do they shave as nice as they look?
