You're gonna love that razor. I'm partial to my own edges, so I tweaked that the way I like it - and haven't had to touch up yet.

Hey pinky, I'm pretty sure this is the good side of the river lol. I've never heard of any meets around here. When in September is it? The first two weekends I already have plans but if its after that I'll probably make it.

I might take you up on your offer sometime, I'm still very new to this straight game and have a lot learn. I'm still trying to figure out stropping and what different materials do. I have not yet attempted to use a stone or any other means of sharpening.

You will learn so much in just a few hours more that you have spending hours, days, week and months reading and asking questions!!

I just tried his Friodur tonight that he'd finished with his newest rock! OH was it nice!!!

For what ever it is worth....(and I appologize if this has already been done, this IS a rather long thread and have not read them all), I tried to estimate about when a razor would be ready based on the postings of whom ordered when and when they received. Below is a cut/past from excel (sorry, it did not transfer well) spread-sheet that has Dr.R.Williams kicking these out at about 9 per month. I made the table last february, and it seemed to have pegged the above receiver (#096) to be in between Jun and July (I just add it to the sheet to see how it was going, and it landed right on line 10)....
