    Default DE Blade Recycling ?.....

Maybe this has already been addressed I don't know ? I just got my first De and love it but I was wondering if anyone knew of anyplace that maybe you could send used blades to be recycled ? Maybe a silly question, just seems that all that metal could be melted down for remanufacture ?? Any input ?? And of course if there is not,are there any special ways to dispose of them or do ya just chuck'em and be done? Just tryin to reduce the carbon print is all.

Here in Italy, in most of the cities, including mine, people is required by law to recycle their garbage, namely, plastic, glass, paper, metal and organic stuff. So the DE blades are put in the recycled metal container, just like cans.

Fair enough I suppose then. I just thought maybe the acme razor company or someone of that type of ilk took blades and recycled'em. Thanks for the input.

Vintage Blades sells a metal blade bank for somewhere around $1. Just put your used blades in, and once full, recycle like you normally would.

That's what I do. I've thought about cutting a slit in a Mason jar lid and putting them in there so they'd look cool but it would take me a decade to fill that.
