Default Straight Razor Maker's Year of Manufacture

Does anyone know of any straight razor makers that stamped the year of manufacture as part of their stamp? Just curious as that could really set me off collecting.

I read that the quality of steel was not so good so maybe best avoiding. I'll stick to my Sheffields for now but looking at some American makers too.

It's not so true. Soviet steel was very good.
BUT among Soviet razors there are many defective razors with curved blade.
