Reminds of this set of "symbols" seen on John Heiffor razors! I think is is supposed to resemble Hindi?

Hey Wullie- I too pick up one of these and wanted to share my pics. Forgive the fruit bowl but it was more interesting of a background than a white piece of paper. Looks to be in good condition...light surface rust, no pitting, original scales.

I have one of the Wade & Butcher "Chinese" Razors above the marking is stamped "Lower & Barr "
