Default Another newb asking which razor to buy?

I was looking at some razors in the $100 price range and I found these razors on sale at Vintage straight razor. Would either of these razors be a legitimate razor to begin shaving with?

I'd suggest... neither. Look at the classifieds here for something shave ready.

another option would be ebay..just make sure NO dark pitting spots or rust anywhere..and the edge is clean..no spots there either..you should be fine..

hey just a option take it or leave it. Start off with a Dovo Shavette. One you will always have a sharp blade. There is a lot of factors in a straight razor. Honing and stropping and even learning to shave. With this all you have to do is worry about shaving. Not well my shave was crap is it honed right or did I roll the blade when stropping it and so forth. Not to mention you then have a travel razor and you then can find out if this shaving is for you with out spending over a 100. Just advice take it or leave it. Most dont think to go this route

    and I second ANelson's response....
My shaving life got much better when I started using razors from the SRP classifieds and had the others prepped by SRP vendors...
Is better if you stick with the family...
