Thanked: 0Colquhoun and Cadman
Hi. I have a Colquhoun and Cadman razor from the late 1800's and it's the best razor I've ever owned. Even though I've chipped a piece off the toe, it rings with a really pure tone and no odd-order harmonics. I was just wondering, is the Cadman in the name the same as in a T.R Cadman and sons "Bengall" razor? I believe Cadman was quite a common name in Northern England at the time, as I've run into it on a lot of different antiques.
