Nah, just an honest misstake, I think you'll live just wanted to let you know before you got your ear or nose stuck between those "horns" (looks kinda cool though, like a Swedish devil )
And for joining "the other place": "You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave"
On a more serious note, I think you've done a nice job with it, specially the scales. The shoepolish didn't have any negative effect on the stiffness?Last edited by Zephyr; 09-02-2012 at 10:39 PM.

Thanked: 485Yeah, I actually thought of the horn thing too, pity it's wrong! I should have realised...
I know a lot of guys are on "the other place" and it seems like a nice place, but I spend way too much time posting here, let alone another place!
Thanks for the feedback. Of course it's not a serious restore, one day maybe I'll find out how far one can go with just wet and dry sandpaper and time. My trouble is I want every project finished NOW.
No, I didn't notice any negative effect. The scales were looking white, probably legacy from their shocking journey. I just thought shoe polish + leather = no brainer. Of course I did use Kiwi shoe polish, the best shoe polish in the world :-)Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?
