Default Weight of all my razor

I decided to weigh my razor for your viewing pleasure. My first two razor feel good when you handle them, you can feel the weight, not too heavy and not too light.
When I got my 3rd one the Vintage Thiers Issard Silver Spartacus I felt as if it was much lighter than my first two razors. So I did a small investigation and here are my finding.
    Enjoy

That's surprisingly consistent! We should open this up to find the lightest and heaviest 'real' razors in SPR members' collections.

Now I'm wondering who would have the largest (by mass) collection of razors!

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

I check the really heavy ones sometimes, just to get an idea..

IIRC the heaviest one in Factory Horn was a W&B 9/8 at 2.8 oz or 78.4 g

This does not include some of the new customs out there, as some of those are real bruisers in fact that was why I started weighing them in the first place.. I wanted a comparison to some of the customs that I was seeing...

The lightest 5/8 I have weighed is a Genco "Next" at 1.1 oz or 30.8 g I haven't weighed the 3/8 or 4/8's and I only weigh the ones that are NOS to give as true a Factory weight as possible

I believe the seller is mistaken,, 90 g maybe and that is a strech for just the blade..

In the pic below is a 7/8 W&B near full wedge that weighs 2.2 oz or 61.6 g in Micarta, next to it is the largest heaviest "razor" I have ever seen or held, and it really isn't a Razor, it is a Microtome, the size is outlandish, with a blade length of 4 full inches and it has SS scales that behemoth weighs in at a wrist breaking 5.2 oz or 145.6 g

Never mind carving, you could hunt turkeys with that thing!
