Default Revisor C. Friedr Schmidt Soligen

First off hello eveyone....this is my first post on here and Im truly excited to be apart of the forum. I have learned a tremendous amount of useful info here and Im grateful for the knowledge. I have recently purchased this razor and looking for further info on this particular piece. I have searched the web about it and have come up empty. Maybe someone here has a similar piece and can give info on it. The only thing im unsure of is....i dont think he scales are original nor the case but i could be wrong. History, value, rarity, etc. would be helpful. Thanks again and here are some pic for your viewing pleasure.

It's a very well known brand. They made high quality pieces.

Understandable on the appraisal as this will be used in a rotation for personal use anyways...more interested if anyone can date this one, could the scales be original incl the box, etc. Havent been able to find anything. Ive seen several pics of others but none like this one. Thanks for the welcome.

I dont believed the box is original looks homemade, nevertheless the scales look original and i would say that this razor is fairly new, properly honed it should be a wonderful shaver!

It is a good looking razor and will no doubt be a great shaver given proper honing. In one of your pic's the scale reminds me of bone.

This is a hand made box without any connection to Revisor. This kind of model started to be sold in 1930 up to now. http://revisor-solingen.de/assets/im...ges/db_018.jpg

Not sure if it matters date wise and something i forgot to take a pic of is the razor does have the ridges on the bottom and top of the tang for grip.
