    Default My new Hand Forged

    I wanted to take a bit of space here and share my thoughts about a recent purchase I made from Robert Williams. The razor below was posted here by Robert a week or so ago and I just couldn’t resist the temptation to get it, not that I made any real effort.

    The big blade is a 1 1/16" hand forged heavy grind, not a wedge (thank God) but close and it is truly a work of art, from the hammered spine to the meaty shank it is a very stout razor and just the way I like ‘em. To top it off this thing is a truly wonderful shaver; I just couldn’t be more pleased.

    The giraffe bone scales really go well with the blade and the overall craftsmanship of this razor is top notch! If you get an opportunity to purchase one of his hand forged razors I would highly recommend it, and please do it quickly…at least before I see the post that is.

    It's official. We have another custom razor maker!
    The word is still out on the others.....

    So right now we have confirmed shavers by Livi, and Robert Williams (PapaBull)!

    Yep, that's one heck of a razor he's making for Josh. And there are several other members that are getting ready to start making razors, so we may be entering a new golden age of razors

    However, I still have not figured out how someone can shave with that beast of a blade he's making Josh!
