My take on these nice looking razors is that the scales are most likely not original to the razors.

The 'Blue Diamond' razors I've seen have been either made by Grah & Plühmacher (manufacturers of the 'Silver Ring' and 'Gotta' razors) or 'Made in Germany' for S.R. Droescher.

I have taken a good look at both 118 and 46, There no way they could have being re-pinned. Its original. A moderator from another forum told me "Blue Diamond was a Trademark 1901-1908 Used by Norvell-Shapleigh " So I guess we all learn some thing new ever day!

No way it could have been repinned? What gives you that impression? Proper pinning is not rocket science.

Apparently 'Blue Diamond' was indeed used by Norvell-Shapleigh (which I didn't know), but I've never seen any Schulze or Empor razor connected in any way to the 'Blue Diamond' or tuning fork trademark. So I remain skeptical. But again, nice razors and lovely scales indeed.

As it also says 'Made in Germany', I have a hunch it might be made by Grah & Plühmacher for Droescher. But I don't have any proof for that.
