club razor Maestro
I know a lot of members are "exclusive shavers" (the ones who like a unique piece in their hands), but, as I seem to be in no position of paying 500 hundred or more for a Maestro Damascus, I was thinking about a "club-Maestro" (realising that this idea might offend the Maestro ).
But, still... noticing the amount of interest in the maestro razors, and the eager a lot of members should be in (I am eager!!!!!!!!) I was thinking about a Damascus Razor with simple wooden handle (rosewood or Olivewood or whatever) for about 350 Dollar (without any inscription... just plain wood and just a plain damascus blade).
If there would be enough enthusiasm... this should be possible, right? (Lynn????).
Hope I didn't overplay my hand (I'm just a newcomer and should not be posting such proposals in the first play... but unfortunately I'm very eager to shave with a Damascus Maestro!).
thanks, and sorry... and sorry... and really sorry for being rude,
michel

Thanked: 0I'd have to imagine that wouldn't make those who paid big $ for them too happy.

I wouldn't imagine that would ever happen. An outfit like dovo or even TI is a commercial establishment that can crank out relatively large numbers of razors and a large order might get a good price as the first club razor did and as I remember they had to buy around 200 or so. The Maestro makes em one at a time I don't think you'll ever see em cheaper than they now are. Even with the clear plastic scales they're still $500 or more.
I believe the club razors are still available so why have a second run when the first is unsold? No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero
