    Hey All

    Check this out. A customer sent this to be honed O-O. This is the largest blade I have seen!!! It measured 1 2/8".
    Honestly a gorgeous hunk of lovin' steel!!

    Carl, can you weigh it ???

    I am taking a look at the real heavyweights of the past and would love an accurate weight to add to my figures on a 10/8

    I will keep that in mind though for others like this. The chap is a collector of blades over one inch.
    I will ask him could he weigh it for you! I am certain he won't mind he is a real Gent.

    Haha it is a rather large blade. It took about a a hour to hone. Then there was the test shave. Large wedges like this can take a little longer to hone but they don't half look gorgeous!! They shave well too

    I have always had a fear for big blades. The largest I have used is a 6/8.
