    Default 11/16 Imperial Razor?

Hey guys, I'm sitting at work bored, and decided to do some razor snoopin'. So here's the question. I picked up an Imperial Razor company, warranted, Germany stamped tang that is 3/4 hollow square point with a picture of the U.S. (that's just what it says, no USS) battleship indiana etched in the blade. The size looked off at first, but when I got home and measured, it was an 11/16 and not a 6/8 like all the others I have found or read about here, and other places on the web today. Did they make many 11/16's or possibly they measured from the top of the spine to edge, instead of lip of spine to edge, which every other razor I have seems to use? Any info on this would be great, cause I'm stumped!

    Hey There

    Check this

I always measure from the top of the spine to the edge of the blade. I do this because you can't ensure you measure them all the same otherwise. Just my opinion.

    Thanks

Yep, thanks for the link; I have looked that one over a while back. My 3 dovos, fred dolle 5/8, and coral japanese/western style 5/8, all measure 5/8 from the lip of the spine to the edge....but then again, nothing saying they didn't decide to go another route. Thanks for the feedback!
