Thread: Interesting Shumate advertising

What i find interesting is that at the bottom of this ad its written capacity 10,000 razors daily. In them years the us population was around 100 million take away woman and children, your left with 30 to 40 million men.Life expectancy was around 50 yrs old for men. Was Shumate that popular? did they export heavily in them years? Im sure they didnt produce 10 thousand razors everyday but those numbers seem almost outstanding.

Probably an example of what my grandfather told me 53 years ago ..... believe half of what you see, and nothing that you read. What gets me is the $2.00 per razor postpaid and guaranteed for life.

Yeah, I wish I knew which model that was. If it is more than hype, which I wonder about, I would like to have one of each to compare what they thought was better for wiry beards.

I think I'd like that chamois lined "rust proof" case!!

Well, hype or not, it is an effective advertisement. I would buy with that kind of wording (warranty). However, I believe Jimmy's grandpa was on to something, " believe half you see and nothing you read", I like that!
