And a good one it is!

Shortened or not it shaves quite nicely. I'm going back to the hones for a little more fine tuning but today's shave was good with the newly acquired, previously shortened, razor.

I am not surprised in the least! Shortening a blade is seldom a bad thing. As long as the width and integrity are there, it should shave as good, or perhaps better?

    I rest my case.

Speaking of a short blade, has anyone used a Dubl Duck Dwarf? I found one on eBay that is on its way for under $30. I've heard that in spite of their shortened size that they are super shavers. And some people actually prefer the shortened blade. Anyone taken one of these for a spin?
