Shaved tonight... A new tactic to avoid morning stress with my two daughters running (and claiming) around the bathroom: I take a bath in the evening with a good book (busy with schopenhauer at the moment...) and afterwords I shave (the badger was in a mug with some hot water all the time, so ready to foam up some lather... and the straight was stropped already... so right afther the bath: GO.
GREAT!
But still in the bath I was contemplating my eyes (and especially my vision). You see, I am wearing spectacles, and when shaving I see just enought to not cut myselve. But contemplating on the future...
So my first question:
- Are there any members who wear their glasses when shaving (or is everybody with a not 100% sight on contactlenses?). And how to tackle this handicap?

Still in the bathtub, I was contemplating further on buying a Maestro... I can wait till my wife agrees on a totally big amount of money spend on a razor... but thats probably not going to happen so a Damascus is not in the picture (unless... I attempt to earn more money than my wife does - big challenge- and buy it without a blink).
Anyway I explained to her that a man spends almost 10.000 dollar on shaving in his life using mach3... so that 800 for a nice Damascus is a bargain... but she thought 800 would be also nice for dresses/tops/bikini's aso... endless discussion...).
Contemplating further and knowing an ATS34 is reachable I would like to know:
second question:
-Is an ATS34 with eyes closed (so you don't see the beauty of the damascus blade) just as good as a Maestro Damascus????????????????????????

thanks,
michel
