    Default Slayton razor

Here a different looking razor, looks like a small frameback that closes into its handle or scales, looks very ornate.

Anybody familiar with these? good shavers?
I believed its meant to be used fully open as in pic 2, looks like the razor slides back in the handle to lock in place.

Now that is cool! It is really something when you can find some info or documentation on a razor. I recently bought a Bengall with original box and paper work.
