Frankenstein Razor
Has anyone skillfully combined a blade from one brand of razor with scales (roughly period appropriate) from different brand of razor with good results, or is this a crime against nature?

I do it as long as the brand name is not on the scale and it fits the blade. But if the brand name is on the scale to me that's a No, No..........

People have done it since razors and scales were invented. Done all the time. As long as it fits why not ? OTOH, I like a razor to have the original scales whenever possible. Just me though. Some guys like to replace them with something else whether they need it or not.

Oh deary me ... no interbreeding please...pretty soon we would have Wade Bokers, Joseph Butchers,George Erns, Fredrich Wostenholms, Green Imps, and Red Lizards, etc. It is un-natural and as you said possibly a crime against nature.
