Default Searching for; Makers Mark Database

Does anyone know of a resource, database, or other form of categorized information on makers marks for straight razors? I managed to land a beautiful 6/8 round point with an acid etch of Koln city on the blade. The tang is covered by what looks like a cream colored celluloid. The Name on the tang says 'KALPUS', on the reverse "Solingen Germany". THe makers mark is a triangle with circle around it. I'm at work so pics will follow tonight but figured someone might be able to help based off the description alone. Back to the point, has anyone compiled this kind of info? I found a thread where MichaelC, the now famous distributor of the Zulu Grey hone, that talked about this kind of project but the link he provides is broken.Any help or info would be great!p.s. the library is down right now so I can't even search here *sad face*

I'm starting to think that perhaps it was a K. Plumacher perhaps. I've been able to find a few stamps that are circles with triangles in it with similar styling? Maybe KA PLU's or something???

ONE more thing I forgot to add. The A looks like it might possibly be in a Masonic style with the bridging line of the A is more in the shape of a v that slightly extends past each slanted line / \ v

After some closer looking I noticed another little mark. There is a DEFINITE KPS on the tang. Karl Plumacher Solingen??? Does anyone else buy into this?

Hi Brooksie. Try this: Untitled Document (Ewald Plümacher, Solingen-Ohligs in 1928, Baverter Strasse 3 in 1939. Brand name: 'Stadion-Klinge Gold'. Open-blade razor maker.)
Maker Marks (Richard Plumacher Sohn, Solingen)

I found that too, but thanks for sharing. I've been able to find ONE other razor that has the same markings in an old ebay listing.
