Anyone heard of Judson cutlery?
Good morning all,
During a recent post I came across asking for NOS razor sources, someone posted a link to here: Home. Looking through all the razors I immediately felt the need to buy something, but did not have the funds to buy this: Messer der Woche. Perusing a few sites, I found this Prima razor by Judson Cutlery that looks very similar to the $1100 Globusmen. Naturally, I bought it. Google research has turned up nothing. I do not have the razor in hand (I am currently off the New York coast for hurricane relief). I would sincerely appreciate any history pertaining to this razor. I just purchased a razor ID book, but again, it does me no good where I am.
Thanks,
Jason

Thanked: 3164Try googling it.
It seems they have things like clippers going back to the 1920s, knives dating to WW2, a change of ownership in 1971 and were still trading as of 2009.
A nice looking razor. The Globusmen one is certainly being offered at a high price, but it's the name that commands the price - yours will probably shave just as well.
Regards,
Neil

Thanks for the replies and info guys! Rereading my original post, I guess I was a little vague. What I am curious about is did Judson Cutlery import big name razors and sell them under Judson Cutlery. I was just hoping someone knew off the top of their head.
Thanks again,
Jason
