Thread: It should be a good week!

This should be a good week for me! My honed razor from Whipped Dog was shipped today and should arrive later this week.

I have two DE razors that are shipped and should arrive along with 100 blades and 12 bars of VDH soap.

Today I received two wooden blanks for scale making and the hardware should arrive tomorrow.

As soon as the razor from Whipped Dog arrives I'm removing the scales from my GD razor to begin the scale making project.

When the WD razor arrives I will be able to compare my self-honing with a truly sharp blade.

Sounds like an early x-mas to me! Nice. What blades did you go with? DE blades that is.

I went with Astras.

I, too, got an email that my sight unseen has started it's trek to me!

It's my first straight razor, so I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas morning to get here.
