Pour Homme Straight Razor
Hi all,
I was doing a bit of digging around http://usa.zwilling.com/ looking for a bit of history on razors, not that I could find any on the U.S. site. But I came across this, It does not tell you much about the razor or what width etc, but I was just wondering if it would be the same quality steel that they used to be? If they are perhaps they could be rescaled with something decent, and we could have a good razor? Just my thinking aloud, perhaps I'm way off track

I have one, and I am very happy with it. It's a 5/8, and it shaves magnificently.

Thanked: 79For some reason I am under impression that we found these are made under contract by Dovo now, and that the old Henckels razor machinery is gone (?) anyone remember for sure?
Still, they seem to be nice razors, from what I hear.

Thanked: 346I've got one in 6/8 and love it. It's every bit as good a shaver as my other Friodurs, and I think it's a bit harder than the old friodurs. If it's made by Dovo it's made to better specs than their normal stuff.

Thanked: 0I've got the Henckels Friodur 5/8, the razor is about 25 years, from what I can see it is more or less exactly the same razor. Tell you what It shave like a dream

For that sort of price at $149, and a nice rescale, that could be one decent looking razor.
I must stop this obsession. Whats wrong with me.
