Thread: I need a back up

Hey everyone,

So I have been informed that I need a second razor to use as a back up for when my main Hart Razor is out being re-honed..What would you all suggest I look at? I don't want to spend a lot seeing as I went all out on my main blade. I want the best blade I can get for the cheapest price I can find. I am completely open to suggestions. I will go for a used or new purchase. I am brand new to real shaving so I will need recommendations on type of grind and maker. I'm heading down to Lynn and Don's store Monday. Which blades should I ask about there? Or should I get a used one from the classifieds here? I'm going to build my whole shaving kit from their store. minus the Hart I have already ordered and possibly the one you recommend. I think all your questions will be answered on Monday after heading over to Lynn and Don's store, which is probably the best thing you can do since you're new to straight shaving. Good luck and give us an update after the visit.
