I have one of those. Under the 'Silver Steel' it says 'Warranted'. To the left there is a crown and either a VR or a WR under the crown; VR= Victoria's Reign (1837-1901) or WR= William's Reign (William IV, 1820-1837). As far as I know the manufacturer could be Wade & Butcher or Joseph Rodgers & Sons and I think maybe a couple others used the same markings on the tang. Maybe someone more knowledgeable will chime in with more info.
No matter, a very fine Sheffield shaver.....enjoy!Last edited by DoughBoy68; 09-20-2014 at 04:00 AM.

I have one also that has the same markings and the original scales had "the old english razor" on them. Unfortunately they were far too gone to save. Mine is hollow ground though. It is a great shaver.
