Default Buerger Bros S. Co Atta boy!!

Though its probably not a diamond, I thought it was neat as it says Denver COLO. as I am from Colorado I was drawn to it. I have searched the interweb and can only find information of ebay sales of these razors. So I thought I might tap into the wealth of knowedge on this forum. Has anyone heard of these razors before or know anything about them? On one side it says ATTA BOY!! REG. PAT OFF. and on the other it says BUERGER BROS S. CO DENVER, COLO M.I. GERMANY. The scales also say BUERGER BROS ATTA BOY!!

That looks like an early 20th century razor to me.

Here's some info on the company:
    Denver CO Apartments

They had the razors made in Germany, probably in Solingen, for their showroom in Denver.

    From the link:

    "Buerger Brother History

1885- Hugo, Otto, Max and Julius Buerger, four German-born brothers, founded the Buerger Brothers Barbershop. On April 8, 1930 the firm moved from the 1400 block of Larimer Street, creating the company’s new headquarters building, the Buerger Brothers Building.

The building featured a wholesale showroom on the ground floor and mezzanine stocked with scissors, combs, manicure equipment, barber and beauty shop chairs, creams, lotions, powders and preparations. On the fourth floor, the Buerger Brothers Supply Company manufactured toilet waters and produced a group of products called the Sorority line that included facial oil, bath crystals and oil shampoo."

Wow cool thanks, now that's some history. I'm going downtown this week I'll drive by the building. Thanks
