I think you have a very nice old razor there. There are experts here that know better than I do, but I have no problem believing that razor is from the early 1800's or older.

morephotos a bite better taken, the text is not to easy to understand, mainly talks about the quality of the razors with this mark and the sistem to identificate them, initialy you can read a date, finaly after clean the paper and using UV ligth the rest is it

At the beguining could not saw anything, after cleaning the rests of rubish you can see something bur i agree is dificult, is easier with the box in your hand and useing the natural ligth, indeed i actualy see diferents numbers the 17 bigger at the initial of the line is more or lessd easy, but the other part, sure printed at the moment of the finish the razor like a SEGURANCE wer und a big lot of dark robish i cleaned in part, and the result is variavel, iŽll send you more than one photo to try see you all i see, but i can not promise no thing, only my firm opinion and a bit faith well i spect help of all of yours to identify the razor, iŽll send a better fhoto of the three marks, a weel, a hal a moon and a inverted B, actualy iŽm sure you can not see a lot, and more photos of the text to ask for your help to read it, is quite dificult, a bigger one helps, but is dificult nevertheless, The mark you can read is LŽEULLIET, quite clerarly, in the text for two times saying the great qualiti of yhe knifes and razors under this name and the danger of by another si mimilar without the contrast marks, but ii can not find any thing about LŽEULLIET, LŽEULLJIET, or any similar tring difrents convinations thinkink the read is not clear enaugth, well the other pnotos of the other razor, mor comun used to raplaced the ones lossed in the first years of the 19th century, or earlier wit a liss flower by trade mark and the water colored decoration of the box, quite 18th century (like books forst pages one) sure will nelp you, i think is a razor to complete the history of the razors evolution, more similar a knife than a razor, a intermediate step, well, your opinion will be too important for me, thanks (we must make a littel virtual museun of the ones wee post, is a maravellous working subject by antropology)
