    Default Mark on my recently repaired razor??

    This razor just had some major work done, shaves great.. it's a double duck. can anybody tell me if this mark on the blade is something to worry about.. ?? I strop it before and after I shave dry it wipe down with alcohol and dry it again before I store it. It's in it's original scales celluloid?Name:  ImageUploadedByTapatalk1354745761.670162.jpg

    Looks like a little tarnish. Some people w/ higher than average aidic oils on their skin, myself included can do this to a blade. Some chrome safe metal polish will take it off. I just make sure not to touch the steel after I wipe it down and dry it, I just hold it in my hand w/ a towel then close it w/ a piece of TP in my hand. My dovo with gold plating on the spine does this to me if I am not careful as well.
    Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

    It's not celluoid rot?? I hear these dd razors scales some were made with celluoud??
