Default Landers Frary and Clark Universal

So I have a Landers Frary and Clark razor I really like so I was looking around for a similar one when I noticed that all there razors have numbers. I was wondering if any one knew what the numbers mean or how the numbers were assigned

There have been a number of theories on the subject of numbering and I don't think there is any definitive answer. It probably varied from company to company. Here are four of my LF&Cs with different numbers. See if you can find some logic in the numbering.
