Default Correcting lateral play to prevent binding

Dear Fellow Razorheads- Received three beautiful shave ready blades today from Ebay that were bought off of a Barbers estate-A Morely, Avanti 2 and a Stein. The Stein has enough lateral play that sometimes she binds with the scales-NOT good Is there a way to take her apart and shim her with brass washers or should I send her out for repair? Thanx again for any advice-Gearhead222

Going to give you the greatest link on SRP at least according to me hehehe

At the top of the Sub-Forum "The Workshop" is a "Stcky Thread" in red, that means it is always there to find

    Appropriately named http://straightrazorpalace.com/works...wers-here.html

In there is some very good info on adjusting the way the razor closes
