Thread: I picked these up on ebay. Any info on them?

I got these at a good price from ebay today. Surprisingly both were shave ready. I do need to buff out a lil rust but not near the edge. Can anyone tell me a little history on these? Anyway to pinpoint a date

One is a Hainlin stuttgart 5/8
The other a Supreme geo w mars den & son Lawrence Mass. Made in Germany.
Any info would be appreciated.

I enjoy these type of threads, I hunt my tail off & try to find an answer, not so much for the person asking the question, but during the hunt I learn about razors, companies , usefull references that I save on my computer , straight razor file.
GOOGLE is great, as it is a road to people & places long gone.

I bet if you emailed them, they might even have a little history about their razor making long ago, that they might send you. I doubt they are asked often.

very nice acquisitions man, can I ask roughly what price you paid? I'm new to this but I've been going crazy since I bought the first one Its only been like a week and a bit and I already have like 4 razors and another 5 in the mail. just picked up a Boker(USA made one) and a geneva cutlery genco, was happy as when i got home both of the auctions won on my exact max bid lol! lucky numbers. were 59 and 32

I paid 40 for each of them. I was surprised they came shave ready. Shaved with both last night and got an excellent shave. Thanjs fir the input guys!
