Thanked: 0Advise and suggestions
Hello friends,
I was thinking to purchase (I'm an absolute beginner) a starter kit including the razor, and the accessories to maintain and care for the razor without spending a lot of money.
Do you guys have any suggestions?
Thank you all

Try Whipped Dog Straight Razor Shaving Equipment -- that's the cheapest single-source deal for a straight razor and accessories.
. Charles. . . . . Mindful shaving, for a better world.

I second the recommendation for Whipped Dog. Especially their Poor Man's Strop Kit, for two reasons: Most people end up nicking their first strop all to hell, so why start out with an expensive one?
Also, the kit includes a balsa strip treated with Chromium Oxide (CrOX) on one side and Iron Oxide on the other. With it, I have been able to maintain the edge on my Dovo 6/8 Best Quality for a year. Properly used, it's all you need to maintain your razor's edge (assuming it was properly honed to begin with--and any razor you buy from Whipped Dog or Straight Razor Designs will be) for years and years.
