got it in the mail today , very clean razor, a few scratches where mayb someone may have removed some surfface rust , a couple dings on top of the spine and only 2 tiny pit marks in the blade that i could sand out and prob will just cause i dont like the looks of the way who ever hit it with a low grit but thats for another day as i wanted to shave with it ... put some neets on the scales , a quick clean and an attempt on the hone , off to the strop , and off the bathroom i went .. this is by far the heaviest blade i have , just under 8/8 at widest spot and just feels like it weighs a ton but i have to say the look of this blade in the mirror gave me the feel that i have to have something bigger !! i felt like a manly man and can understand the big push and high dollar of the bigger blades !! i want more , and more , and more ...lol..

well the shave was ok , it needs a fine tune but i will wait to my hone skills improve but its not far off from where it needs to be , perhaps just even some more time on the strop but all in all im in love with this razor as is and cant wait to get it fine tuned !! ( i reshaved with my packwood and came out smoothhh so i know i honed that one ok ...lol so would this blade be in the 1817-1823 range because it isnt stamped " sheaf works " ??? o and also i love the way the tail fits my finger/fingers ...
