Thread: mistake maybe

i bought the below by a mistake,i thought i bought a shavette as a back up and was quite surprised when it turned up.do you think it is worth bothering with,or just file it in the bin.
it was not shave ready by any means,there was a attempt at a bevel but looks like it was ground as there is a scuff on the heel.
not lost much i know the postage was roughly what i paid for it,but still anoying

At that price it's probably a Pakistani made piece. If that's the case honing will be a exercise in frustration. Now, you can use it to practice your stropping and just razor handling and practicing honing strokes. Just don't expect much.
