Thread: Where do they end up?

When I first started hanging around SRP, I would enter the monthly give away contest. I never did win, but I liked to try.
Now I have more razors than I care to admit, so I dont enter anymore.

But the question has come to my mind.... What happens to those razors?

How many of you who won a razor still shave with it?
Do you even still have it? Did you gift it to some other new guy?

I have gotten so much from this site, (even if not a winning entry that I will be giving at least a token offering of 4 old blades that can go to the next generation of shavers. Look for these to show up in the give-away in the near future!

Interesting thread.

I enter...never win. But I have a stable of razors I am quite happy with. I would probably donate some of the stuff to the next contest, but it'd be nice to win a sample or two of a nice cream that I occasionally see in these monthly give aways.

Hmmm, Sometimes I forget that there is more than just blades in the give aways. I just got a box full of soaps, I should put one in with the razors. =)

I won a Diamond Edge which shaves beautifully. I still have it and shave with it when I want a treat rather than in my regular rotation. To be honest, I haven't tried the soap or brush I also won. I plan to provide some stuff for prizes once I get a chance. I don't enter any more, though. Not sure why, but I don't.

Perhaps because you are a gentleman, and having already won, you refrain from greed so that others may enjoy!

That's what I told my wife when she saw going through my razors today. I have 3 razors that will soon be making their way to Bill for the monthly give-aways. I've learned so much from SRP, including things that have nothing to do with straight shaving.
