I assure you there was no sarcasm whatsoever in my posts, I don't know why you choose to infer such.
You said you came looking for a cheap razor to give to your friend and that you have been extremely successful honing the razor subject of this discussion. I would've thought that given your experience you could simply buy another good cheap razor that you know with certainty will work well, but since you haven't I figured I can help you with that.

It shouldn't be very hard to take the shaving video (and honing it too, if you will) and put to rest any doubts that they are not good razors. That would be very helpful and is the only productive way to settle this argument.
Other people claim the razors are not good, you claim they are perfectly good - the onus is on you to prove it.

I don't understand why are you instead choosing to be confrontational and attack everybody. In any case, you can stop this nonsense and start over.

im still surprised he wasnt banned for calling the admin a douchebag! look, if you come into a forum filled with experts, and start touting false information, you are going to be put in your place. quick, fast, and in a hurry. if you simply came in and asked for help, im positive you would have ended up with a free razor. new guys get free razors all the time, i know this because i tend to send out free shave ready razors. interesting thread, i wonder if its going to make a comeback or disappear lol.

How about this, you give me your buddies address (or yours) and I will send him a shave ready razor. This way you can see how this community does business for real. PM me his address and I will send you or him a razor, you can hone it as you please and everyone wins.

And this isn't meant to be a insult. This is to see if your buddy likes it (I am a Sailor as well) and you can get a taste of what regularly goes on around here. We all win.
