Thread: Filarmonica Doble Temple

I have an opportunity to buy a NOS Filarmonica Doble Temple 6/8" razor (never been honed, black scales). It has all the requisite markings on the shaft near the tang but it doesn't have the filigree on the blade that one usually sees on a Filarmonica. The question is how do Filarmonicas with the filigree differ from those without it? Enough for me to back away from the deal?
