Thanked: 26How much money are you willing to lose vs how much does it cost? For $5, I'd buy it. For $50, I wouldn't. Somewhere between is the pivot point between the two options.

Well, here it is. I went back to the antique store today and bought it, mostly based on the quality of the other razors I've brought from the same shop. It's a 6/8 Wosty, probably later production (I'm thinking 50's). I cleaned it up with a quick wipe down, but it's pretty much as found. There is still the slightest hint of brownish edge discoloration. I think it will hone up well. No hone wear, centers in the scales and tight pivot, for $24.
The bluish tinge you see at the edge is an artifact of the photograph's lighting, by the way.Last edited by Mike12345; 01-03-2013 at 02:04 AM.

Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.
