Thanked: 247The hero razor
I have the exact same razor. It is among my best shavers (and I have several semi-customs and customs).
I broke the scale on mine trying to tighten the pivot...I thought so much of the razor that I made some G-10 scales for it. I will never part with mine. It cost me very little, but I like what it does for me...she is a keeper in my book

You can only choose by the shaves. Looks mean nothing without a good shave

I recall (poorly) from when I researched mine that it was probably made between 1910 and 1930 (if I recall correctly). I have the coffin mine came in when new. It cost $3 originally. Here is a photo.
It is a fake textured leather box actually made of cardboard.
The original scales are Guta Percha (a rubber based plastic) and the white wedge is a soft plastic.
Hope this helps. It's a great razor, but I would not expect a lot of collector interest (interpret that opinion as you wish).
Hope this helps.

Unless you need to move razors to make room for Life's others pleasures or Life's unexpected expenses,,,keep them all.
They don't make them any more, and they will increase in value if you take care of them.
