Thanked: 1Dovo stainless steel replacement scales
Wondering what you guys think of these scales? I need a low cost option for replacement scales...just wondering if stainless might be a bad choice for rust and balance reasons. Also if anyone can tell me if these come pre drilled that would be helpful. Thx.

Hi Paul,
I haven't actually seen the replacement scales, but I have a Dovo all stainless. They're a little heavy, but with time you adjust to them. I do prefer more traditional scales though.
I think there are some restorers here on the forum that have them just laying around after replacing them for other members.

Thanked: 1Thanks for the help. I have some things to think about. I just don't want to spend too much being that I have spent a good deal on this hobby already, and my razor is just an entry level Dovo BQ.

Thanked: 20You can find scales on ebay for a decent price. I have seen several with the seller shaving_style that may fit the Dovo BQ. You can find many at a decent range in prices though... I think it is all him when you search for "razor scale" though...
I have thought about getting some from him, but I haven't gotten some of my razors to that point yet. Maybe someone here can let you know how his scales are in comparison to the other replacement scales?
