Mastro Livi making a razor
Awhile back, I stumbled across a website of photos depicting the steps taken by Mastro Livi to make a razor. I've been trying to find that site again, but with no luck.
Does anyone have a link to it?

Here's the official HP that does contain photos of the crafting process. http://www.coltellerielivi.com/#

Thanks, Ilija. There is another one, probably not his official homepage that has step by step pictures of him taking a piece of steel stock all the way through to a finished and scaled razor. There were probably something like 50 pictures of the process. It's really cool to see.

I know the site you mean, I think it was on a discussion forum. I can't find it now though, maybe the site got taken down, I found it pretty easily with Google before....

I got the DVD when I got one of his razors. It is very interesting.

Mastro Livi makes a razor
Hello
By the looks of it, it seems an 8/8, the blade is really extreme looking, its shape is really sword like. I have no idea how much it sold for, the article was from an Italian Blades Magazine, and it focused on Mastro Livi's techniques; similar razors can be found onto my website or Lynn's, they go for about 765 USD.
As a document I prefer mastro Livi's DVD, is obviously much more detailed and it shows all the live action.
The DVD of Mastro Livi making a 7/8 blue Tonge Damascus, African Ebony razor is really enjoyable, Lynn provides the translation and commentary.
