    Default anonymous french SR

    Hi all,
someone can make some assumptions about the manufacture of this razor?
is French and has only the punch "denise au puy" (probably the dealer)
should be of the second half of the XIX century.

The only thing i found is Coutellerie Coutaret-Denise founded in 1816, and they definately made razors, perhaps the razors were only stamped Denise?

mmm I don't think or better I can't say it and I haven't evidence of it.
but looking the pics you posted: the address is 5 rue de lyon thiers (puy de dome)
and the stamp "au puy" should be "at puy" in english meaning a place near to thiers or a district of thiers

thank you very much a great help

I have many anonymous French straight razors and in my SR data base they are stamped as "superior" and " No way to be sold" :-)

Your looks like you like this one :-)
