    Default Strange, Long, Franken Kamisori

Just found this strange Kamisori on ebay and couldn't help but grab it.

It's oddly long (blade is slightly more than 2.7"-2.8") and is quite slim. The Omote on this one looks like it's taken some serious abuse, but it still takes a wicked edge. I couldn't get a good picture of the blade profile, but the geometry looks a bit flat to me and is a bit too symmetrical.

My thought is that the blade was possible re-shaped at some point, or isn't a kamisori at all. Any opinions, info, or insight would be greatly appreciated!

    Cheers!

Thanks pixelfied. I'm sad to hear it, but it's kind've what I expected. I still like it though! Haven't seen another one with this shape... I like to think it has "character"

It has probably been a loved razor for some time, I like it!
Looks like it got a heavy handle/tang.

Reminds me of a detailing razor for eyebrows, but I'm no expert.

Possibly a mimizori for ear hair or it's just really worn.
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
