Default Am I starting with a bang?

As you seasoned members can tell by my post count, I'm a newbie. Looking through your razor database and subsequent Google searches I may have a bit of a mystery razor. Found at a local antique store, it has a rather thin spine which makes it extra sharp, albeit rather quick dulling it seems. Are there many "mystery razors" out there? Or is this simply a stock razor of some sort with a custom name stamped on it? If my pics are a bit hazy, the blade reads Hamburg-Hollow Ground Razor, and the tang is stamped MANUF. & WARRANTED BY D.B.B.&Co.

Also included is my modest "collection". I have been straight shaving for six months now and love it. It is a bit addicting searching estate sales and thrift/antique stores for "new" razors!

Ya know those bass fishin' shows? When they hold up the fish and kiss it, then let it go, do you think the fish washes its mouth out?

Welcome to SRP. I don't have any info on your razor but someone who does may be along sooner or later. Nice rotation you've got there and yes, it can be addicting.

There seems to be countless manufacturers over the years. About a dozen really stand out because of longevity and steel quality. Don't immediately discount the lesser known brands. One of my best razors is a no name blade that was forged in Solingen. It's nice when I look for it on eBay because there is no bidding war to contend with or high dollar starting bids.
