Thread: Kai or Feather?

I am about to pull the trigger on a straight razor. I have been wet shaving for a while now and want to try a straight. Narrowed it down to the kai captain excelia and the feather dx folders. I'm just looking for input from you guys that may own or have used either of them. Thanks

My input... I have a Feather AC folder and a straight handled one, a CJB blade handle and an older model Kai Captain.
My feeling is that they all serve as an adequate handles for the Feather blade.
For me it's the blade that matters, not the handle. Found that for my face and beard the Proguard is the go to blade in each.

I've had both and I like both. If I had to pick oe it would be the Feather I think.

I prefer the Feather also but both the excelia and the cheaper kai captain are great razors.
