Thanked: 2Can't wait to try these out
I sent 2 of my dad's razors to Glen at Gemstar Custom Razors to be honed and cleaned and just got them back today. All I can say is WOW!! They look beautiful and I got them back a week after sending them. Its too bad I have to work in the morning or I would be trying them out( my hands aren't that steady at 3 am and I'm somewhat pressed for time in the mornings). I'll try and get some pics and let everybody know how they do as soon as possible.

Thanked: 15You could always do what I do I delay my shower for as long as possible at night and shave right before I go to bed, I am in the military so I have to show up every mornig with a smooth face, and Im usually good till just around 3pm
A married man should forget his mistakes. There is no use in two people remembernig the same thing.

Aloha and Welcome to SRP! Yeah we are going to need to see some pictures please.... Are you just starting out with a SR or have you been using one for a while now? You are right about Glen's wow factor he has cleaned and honed one razor for me and is currently working two more.
Aloha,
ED

Thanked: 2Here are a couple pics I took today. I can't find my tripod so you'll have to pardon the quality. The first is a Union B.S. Company made in Washington DC, yep the irony is not lost. The second is a Robeson Shuredge. I'll try to get some decent pics later and add some of my grandfather's and great grandfather's razors too.
