Thread: Takami Kamisori

These are my kamisori hanging out. Just got my Takami double bevel watetsu/fuji no shiro straight razor in and I'm very impressed. The only markings on it was the word "Fuji" written in English. This is a very interesting razor and its a great shaver. I love how it looks too, if you look closely you can even see lines in it from the steel folding. I found the razor to have a very heavy feel and it did a great job going against my tough stubble, even against the grain was smooth and comfortable. I can't really say if its better or worse then my Iwasaki given how different they are. Both shave great just very differently. I got this from Japan Razor on yahoo if you want to get your own.

a very nice pair. I have a kamisori from Brian Brown and it is very heavy. I loved it wayyy more than my Iwasaki Kamisori. I just sold my Iwasaki cuz I never used it and needed to downsize my collection. Great shavers though, thanks for sharing that
