    Default Crown and Sword

I have had three of these, and love them all. Not at all expensive, I just got one today from ebay, 50.00. Great steel, sharpens easily and easy to maintain. Very nice scales. They do not seem very popular, yet I find them better or as good as those costing several times as much. I just wonder if anyone else finds them to be a superior value.

YES! they are as good or better than most. I particularly like the grinding on them. Easy to hone and very good. Lots of unsung hero shavers out there. For the money, razors like this shave every bit as good as more desirable marques.

I really enjoy these slightly uncommon brands. I am getting a lot of excellent shaves from them and I find it kind of neat to have a variety to choose from. Thanks for the tip. There must be hundreds (thousands?) of them out there.

I have 2 crown & sword razors myself and they do shave excellent.

@mumpig: how are the w. picard, sendyk's and the kiebitz shaving? (or hasn't the kiebitz arrived yet...?)

Hi Dimitry. Those are examples of the less common brands I enjoy owning and using. The Kiebitz hasn't arrived yet but the other two are terrific shavers...thanks.

I have a couple of those crown&zwords, exelent shavers! There are more old names that are forgotten, but still are good shavers when you find them.

Careful there my friend and you get too much publicity on a razor you like and the prices go thru the roof...kinda shooting yourself in the foot. If you keep at it you will see that the "popular" brand razor changes about every quarter or so.

You are correct though, they are good razors...I've got a couple myself & kept them.
